Lopit/ South Sudan – January is the big millet harvest. Locusts, fire, and other factors threaten the harvest. Some of the harvested millet will be brewed into beer to celebrate the harvest, which, later, causes a lack of millet for food. We pray that the Lopit have a good harvest and are thankful to God for it, but will use the new grain wisely.
