« Lodwar/ Kenya – We are encouraged to see new churches full of committed women emerge in remote areas. However, we are concerned with how few men turn to Christ. Please pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of the Turkana men for the Gospel and work mightily among them.
Aru/ Congo – Let us continue to pray for the tense situation in Congo, especially in Bunia. Ugandan troops remain in the town, while rebel groups are active in Goma and the surrounding area. The situation resembles the insecurity before the 1998 civil war. May God bring peace and move hearts of politicians and rebels to prevent war. »
