Evangelization in Congo

Over the past two weeks, our team and the evangelist group from our partner church have been to around 40 different places, spreading the gospel and showing the Jesus film. Now they have arrived safely back at the DIGUNA mission station.

It was a very exhausting two weeks. They covered many kilometers every day. Due to the sometimes difficult organization and the long journeys, there was often only one proper meal a day and the road conditions were not always good.

We are very grateful that the Unimog was able to withstand this long journey and that the group of just over 20 people did not become discouraged despite the challenges, but persevered.

An impressive number: More than 5,000 people have heard the Gospel in these two weeks and 274 of them have decided to follow the Lord Jesus! Please pray that God will help them to join a local church. In places where there are no churches, we pray that new ones will be planted and that people will be able to spread the Word of God.
