Mbagathi Mission Station in Kenya
In 1979, the first DIGUNA station in Africa was established in Mbagathi – 20 kilometers outside Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. The area is located at an altitude of about 1700 meters. The first rooms were used to house the missionaries. Storage facilities and a workshop for repairing the trucks were also set up. All this was to facilitate mobile evangelism.
Today, we still strive to reach children, youth, and remote people groups with the Gospel. We equip them for ministry by providing practical and technical assistance in existing local churches and ministries.
