Radio work
Almost every household in Africa has a radio. This makes the radio the perfect tool to reach masses. Developing content is easier than producing television programs. Radio reaches all classes of people: young and old, rich and poor, educated and uneducated.
At the request of the church, DIGUNA takes care of the technical side such as set-up, equipment of the studio and training. Members of the church take care of the radio program. Broadcasts local Christian music programs, sermons, interactive programs. It is important that daily news and necessary education & hygiene programs also have their place.
The first Christian radio broadcasts went on the air in Bunia, Congo, in 1995. Meanwhile, DIGUNA, together with the church, operates numerous stations in each country of operation. Other radio stations are also being created in cooperation with other organizations.
